How To Use
Mute Mate Instructions
1. Identify the Placement: Place the Mute Mate near the saddle area, as shown in the diagram. This area is ideal for muting unwanted vibrations without obstructing your hand.
2. Attach the Mute Mate: Slide the Mute Mate onto the strings. Ensure it’s snug and doesn’t interfere with the bridge pins. It should cover the strings close to the bridge to reduce string noise effectively.
3. Adjust as Needed: You may need to experiment with placement to achieve the desired level of muting. The Mute Mate can be adjusted closer to the bridge or further up the strings, depending on the tone and muting effect you prefer.
4. Play and Adjust: Once attached, play a few chords or notes to test the effect. Adjust the Mute Mate’s position if you feel the muting is too strong or too light.
5. Remove After Use: When you’re nished, gently slide off the Mute Mate. This prevents any potential wear on the strings or the dampener itself.
Warning: do not over stretch your mute mate as the may lead to Permanent damage
